1 large head of cabbage

1 cup sugar

2 medium onions

Grate or shred cabbage, chop onion and mix with sugar.

Green pepper, celery and carrots chopped

can be added for color.

Dressing:

1 cup vinegar

1/2 cup salad oil

1/4 cup water

1 tsp. dry mustard

1 tsp. celery seeds

1 tbsp. sugar

1-1/2 tsp. salt

Mix ingredients and boil for 3 mins.

Cool and add to cabbage mixture.

Let stand overnight in refrigerator.
