2 cups flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons sugar
3 tablespoons oleo
1 egg -- beaten
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Sift flour with baking powder, salt and sugar. Mix in oleo using a fork or pastry blender. Add egg
and vanilla to milk. Add to dry ingredients to make a soft dough. Divide dough in half. Roll out half
of the dough in a circle and place in greased pie pan, spread with oleo. Roll out other half and
place on top. Bake at 425ยบ for 30 minutes or until browned. Place sliced strawberries between and
on top. Serve with whipped topping.
