Orange Drop Cookies

Ingredients and Instructions

1/2 cup of butter

3/4 cups of sugar

1 egg

2 cups of flour

1/4 teaspoon of salt

1 teaspoon of baking soda

1/2 cup of orange juice

1/2 cup of chopped pecans

1/2 cup of chopped dates

1 teaspoon of shredded orange peel

Cream the butter and sugar together, add the egg and blend well. Sift the flour, salt, and the

baking soda together and add with the orange juice. Fold in the pecans, dates, and the

orange peel. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto a cookie sheet and bake at 400 degrees for 10 to

12 minutes.
