1 cup of mayonnaise
1 cup of sugar
1 cup of sliced dates
1 cup of boiling water
1 teaspoon of baking soda
2 cups of flour
1 teas poon of vanilla
Mix together the mayonnaise, sugar, dates, boiling water, and the baking soda then blend in
the two cups of flo ur and the vanilla. Pour into a greased 9” X 13” pan and bake for 1 hour
at 350 degrees. This cake is best without frosting.
