Brown Rice With Onions And Peppers

5 cups of water

2 cups brown rice

1/2 cup wild rice

1 onion or 3 cloves garlic, chopped

1 green pepper, chopped

1 teaspoon parsley

1 teaspoon basil

1 teaspoon oregano

1/2 teaspoon sea salt

1/8 teaspoon black pepper

2 tablespoons cold pressed olive oil

Place all ingredients except oil in a 6-quart pot and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 45 minutes. Stir every 5-10 minutes. When mixture is cooked, remove from heat and add oil.
