Ingredients and Directions

4 cup cabbage, green, shredded

1 each carrot, peeled, shredded

1 each sauerkraut, (16 oz), drained, rinsed well

3/4 cup apple cider

2 tablespoon brown sugar

3/4 teaspoon caraway seeds

1/2 teaspoon allspice, ground

5 each canadian bacon, slices, cut in strips

1/2 pound turkey kielbasa, in 6 pieces

1 pound potatoes, red, small, new, quartered

Stir together the cabbage, carrot, sauerkraut, cider, sugar, caraway, and allspice in slow cooker. Bury the canadian bacon in the sauerkraut, pressing down to compact. Top with kielbasa & potatoes. Cover & cook on low for 7 hours, until potatoes are tender.
