2 c Sugar

1 c Shortening; beat well

2 ea Eggs

1 c Milk; sour

Or 1 c Buttermilk

4 c Flour

1 ts Baking soda

1 ts Baking powder

1 c Nuts; chopped

1 c Raisins; chopped
