Ingredients and Directions

3 cup potatoes, sweet, cooked, mashed

1/2 cup sugar

2 each eggs

1/4 cup butter, softened

1 teaspoon vanilla

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 cup margarine

1/2 cup sugar, brown

1/4 cup flour

1/2 cup pecans, chopped

Mix first 6 ingredients together. Put in a 2 quart casserole. Melt butter or margarine in small saucepan, add brown sugar, flour and nuts. Stir well & sprinkle on top of potatoes. Bake uncovered 30 minutes in 350 degree oven. You may add 1/2 ts each of cinnamon and nutmeg to first 6 ingredients. Hot or cold you will think you are eating dessert. Delicious!
