2 teaspoons chili powder

1 red pepper flakes

1 1/2 teaspoons paprika

1 teaspoon onion, powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

3/4 teaspoon garlic, salt

Mix above spices together and keep in a zip lock bag. This recipe makes an equivalent of one envelope of purchased taco seasoning mix. Brown your pound of ground beef, or turkey, drain fat, add 3/4 cup water and mix, and simmer until the desired consistency is achieved for taco filling, or use in another Mexican recipe.
