Ingredients and Directions

1 1/2 pound beef, ground

1/2 cup onion, chopped

1 each egg

1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated

1 each spinach, frozen package, chopped, thawed, drained

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon pepper

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1 cup broth, beef

8 oz tomato sauce

1/2 cup wine, dry, red

1 tablespoon cornstarch

Mix all ingredients, form small balls, place in 1 1/2 qt casserole. Mix broth, tomato sauce, wine and cornstarch. Pour over meatballs. Bake covered in 350 degree oven for 40-60 minutes. Can be served over noodles, or great for parties served in crockpot.
