Ingredients and Directions

1 lb Ground turkey or beef

1 lg Onion -- chopped

1 lg Green pepper -- chopped

2 Chiles serranos (optional)

Minced 1 Clove garlic -- minced

1 cn Refried beans

1 cn Chiles -- chopped

3/4 c Picante sauce

1 ts Ground cumin

1/2 ts Oregano

1 ts Salt

1 ds Cayenne

1 c Monterey jack cheese --

Shredded 8 Flour tortillas

Brown the turkey with onion, peppers and garlic. Drain exces fat. Add the remaining ingredients and simmer about 10 minutes. Let cool a bit so the mixture is a little firmer. Warm the tortillas in the microwave or individually in a frying pan to soften. Put a big spoonful in the center of each tortilla, top with some cheese, and wrap, folding the ends within. Optional additions:black beans, corn, more chiles, rice, whatever you like. Recipe By :
