Easy Fruit Cobbler

1 stick of margarine or butter

1 cup of sugar

1 cup of self-rising flour

3/4 cup of milk

2 cans of fruit (any kind you like, fresh or canned)

1/2 cup of sugar

Melt the margarine or butter in a 2 quart casserole dish.

Mix 1 cup of the sugar and 1 cup of the self-rising flour in

a bowl and add the milk mixing slightly. Pour the batter into

the casserole dish and then pour the fruit in the middle of

the batter. Sprinkle the 1/2 cup of sugar on top of the batter

and bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. This is delicious

served warm with ice cream.
