1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup sugar
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup skim milk
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/3 cup sugar
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 cup boiling water
4 cups vanilla ice milk
Combine flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl, and stir well.
Combine skim milk, oil, and vanilla; add to dry ingredients, and stir well. Spoon batter into a
9-inch square baking pan.
Combine 1/3 cup sugar and next 2 ingredients. Sprinkle over batter.
Pour 1-1/2 cups boiling water over batter. (Do not stir).
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until cake springs back when lightly touched in center.
