1 pound of hamburger meat
1-6oz. can of tomato paste
1-8oz. package of elbow macaroni uncooked
1/2 cup of chopped green pepper
1/2 cup of chopped onion
1-20oz. can of chopped tom atoes
1 cup of water
2 teaspoons of chili powder
1/2 teaspoon of allspice
2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
Salt and black pepper to taste
1 tablespoon of shortening
Cook the hamburger meat, elbow macaroni, onion and the green pepper in hot fat slowl y until
meat is lightly browned. Add the remaining ingredients to the skillet and bring to boil. Cover
and simmer, stirring occ asionally, for 20 minutes or until done.
