Rhubarb Pecan Bread

1 1/2 cups if brown sugar

2/3 cup of vegetable oil

1 egg

1 cup of buttermilk

1 teaspoon of baking soda

2 1/2 cups of flour

1 1/2 cups of diced fresh rhubarb

1/2 cup chopped pecans

Topping:

1/2 cup of sugar

1 tablespoon of butter

Combine the brown sugar, oil, egg, buttermilk, soda, flour, rhubarb and the pecans. Pour into 2

greased and lightly floured loaf pan s. Mix topping ingredients together and sprinkle over

batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
